The new version of avast review window is fresh and clean, with sections devoted to each tool of the suite. The large amount of space on the screen has meant that some features are hidden. For instance the homepage offers shortcuts for running scans and activating the VPN. There are also links to a few non-essential tools to optimize your system. Installation is smooth and easy and you’re not forced into upgrading, though the initial scan will highlight “advanced issues” that can only be addressed with a premium subscription.
